Our Mission
SLOPE intends to promote equality at Texas A&M and the surrounding community through leadership and service. We envision creating an environment in which all Aggies are equal and the leaders of tomorrow.
We aim to educate our members and community about our pillars; Racial Equality, LGBTQ+ Equality, Gender Equality, and Disability Equality.
Our Impact
Our goal is to give sophomores a support system via counselors, connections to campus resources, and the Aggie Network. We want to encourage sophomore students to become vital and contributing members of the Texas A&M community. SLOPE sophomores develop a greater awareness of their strengths, abilities, and potential as leaders on campus. Most importantly, we aim to establish a positive environment in which the sophomores can be their own authentic selves.
Philanthropy
SLOPE is dedicated to giving back to the community, which we do through service events around the Bryan/College Station community like community gardens, food banks, and Adopt-a-Street.
We also raise money for our philanthropic cause, Health For All, which aims to provide and expand access to free, high quality, and comprehensive primary and preventative health care for low income, medically uninsured individuals in the Brazos Valley.
